My issues as a Network columnist have dwindled down to two. (Sob, Sob.) I guess I misjudged all the time I thought I had to share my opinions. So here's the skinny on everything (at least some things) I think and believe. Any comments, concerns, or anything else, e-mail me at: I've Been Thinking

k8eb@marian.creighton.eduThe Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire mockery on marriage...
Let's put 100 beautiful women in swimsuits and let a man with a criminal record choose one...It was the most distasteful thing I have ever witnessed on television. The show itself was really bad, but what it suggested was worse. Two people married 10 minutes after meeting, then set off on a honeymoon somewhere in paradise. Not only is this unreasonable, but to me, it's immoral. I stand firm in a belief that yes, sex before marriage is wrong, but sex before love is far more immoral. The overload of teeny bopping girls and one hit wonder boy bands...
I don't particularly like them, or the idea of a band being arranged by audition, but they're sort of fun to jam to on a night on the town with the girls. I just wish it were a little easier to ignore them the rest of the time. I'm sure they'll be yesterday's news soon enough...uh hum remember Hanson."It's a child, Not a choice!"
A person's rights end where another person's begin. Therefore when a baby's rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are violated the mother's and doctor's rights end. Abortion is sick and twisted murder, and should be punishable as that. Some parents and adults blame their children's violent behavior on television and mass media...
I often wonder what the children of these anti-TV activists are doing while they're out ranting and raving. If these parents would go home and spend quality time with their children, this country might start getting somewhere. Those people who walk around with a look on their face that says, "I know I'm wonderful, bow down to me..."
Sorry sweeties, but money and a bad attitude never got anyone anywhere. The 1999-2000 school year has been one to remember (I mean besides the graduating class)...
Isn't four, going on six or seven, state championships, six National Merit finalists, a first ever tie for salutatorian and a sportsmanship award, some kind of record? I'm so proud to be part of the Marian family. Congrats to everyone!
